A native Clevelander, Rob received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 1992. Appointed to the bench of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court by Governor Bob Taft in July, 2001, he presided over felony criminal, complex civil litigation and capital homicide cases. Prior to becoming a judge, Rob maintained a civil litigation practice, served as a Special Prosecutor for Mahoning County and a Prosecuting Attorney for Cuyahoga County, where he represented the State of Ohio at trial and appeal in major felony matters.

He is admitted to the Bar of The State of Ohio and the Federal District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. An outstanding member of the Bar, Rob’s extensive specialty as a trial attorney and on the bench affords our clients an unparalleled level of talent and insight.
